Robert L. Suiter
A well qualified practitioner of psychology, Dr. Robert L. Suiter holds two doctorates in his field. He earned a Ph.D. from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, with an emphasis in Adult and Community Counseling. After that, he attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and completed a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.). Additionally, Dr. Robert L. Suiter received a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a focus on psychiatric mental health nursing, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Robert L. Suiter interned in clinical psychology and at Wright-Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. During this time, Robert L. Suiter’s work focused on neuropsychology, behavioral medicine, adult inpatient alcohol rehabilitation, psychotherapy, and child and adolescent psychology. After completing his internship in 1985, Dr. Robert L. Suiter served as an instructor at several colleges and universities. From 1986 to 1987, he was an Associate Adjunct Professor at Chapman University, and he later held the same title at Golden Gate University. From 1987 to 1989, Dr. Robert L. Suiter was an Associate Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland. Midway through this appointment, Robert Suiter also joined the faculty of the department of psychology at the University of Guam as an Assistant Professor from 1988 to 1989.
Since 1989, Dr. Robert L. Suiter has maintained a private practice. His specialties include psychological assessments, many of which involve child custody decisions and assessments of adults who have been accused of abuse.
