Dr Robert Wadley

For nearly 25 years, Dr. Robert Wadley has enjoyed an outstanding career as an anesthesiologist. Currently, Dr. Robert Wadley serves as the Medical Director of Pain Land, LLC, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based practice with which he has been associated since 2007.

Prior to assuming his current position, Dr. Robert Wadley spent one year as a Staff Pain Physician for Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan. From 1999 until 2005, Dr. Wadley served as the Chief of Anesthesiology at the Ypsilanti, Michigan-based Bariatric Treatment Centers of America. Before this, he functioned as a Staff and Chief Anesthesiologist for the Cold Water Community Hospital Pain Clinic. Prior to this, Dr. Wadley spent two years serving in a similar role at Battle Creek Health Systems. From late 1990 until June of 1991, Dr. Wadley worked in the desert of Saudi Arabia as a Staff Anesthesiologist and Assistant Chief at the 8th Evacuation Hospital. During this period he also served as a Professor and Chief of Anesthesiology at the Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Before this, he spent one year as the Assistant Chief of Anesthesiology at the Yong-Son Army Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea.

Prior to launching his career, Dr. Robert Wadley received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Wadley then completed an internship at Brooke Army Hospital, followed by a residency at the Letterman Army Medical Center. Dr. Wadley remained at the center to complete his fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Robert Wadley was active in the United States Military from July of 1984 until July of 1992. He then served as a reservist until 1999.
