Dr. Steven Covici

A well-regarded oculofacial plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Covici oversees a private practice in Springfield, Massachusetts. At his practice, Dr. Steven Covici offers services such as eyelid lifts, endoscopic forehead lifts, chin and cheek implants, tear duct surgery, chemical peels, and Botox injections.

In addition to directing his practice, Dr. Steven Covici applies his expertise to writing scholarly articles for lectures and publications. Dr. Steven Covici presented his piece, “Transnasal Endoscopic Ethmoidectomy for Dysthyroid Orbitopathy,” at the American Academy of Ophthalmology's annual meeting. In addition, he wrote “Transnasal Endoscopic Orbital Decompression for Dysthyroid Orbitopathy” for the Archives of Ophthalmology and “Evaluation and Management of the Lower Nasolacrimal System” for Pediatric Oculoplastic Surgery.

A dynamic medical professional, Dr. Steven Covici has led courses at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Actively involved in his profession, Dr. Steven Covici bears affiliations with organizations such as the American Medical Association, the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Prior to his professional pursuits, Dr. Steven Covici received a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University.

Dr. Covici volunteers with the Hartford Jewish Coalition for Literacy and supports local groups, such as the Springfield Fire Department. A passionate philanthropist, Dr. Steven Covici extends his generosity to other communities through donations to groups that aim to fight AIDS. In his spare time, Dr. Steven Covici enjoys literature and lists his favorite books as The World According to Garp by John Irving, Portnoy’s Complaint by Phillip Roth, and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. In his leisure time, Dr. Steven Covici enjoys spending time with his family, sculpting, skiing, and taking photographs.
