Dr William Martin Toledo

A prominent ophthalmologist in the Greater Toledo Ohio area, Dr. William Martin currently serves as medical director and chief surgeon at OptiVue. His practice offers state-of-the-art eye care services, including cataract surgery, LASIK surgery, glaucoma testing, and refractive lens exchange. Beyond his ophthalmology practice at OptiVue in Toledo, Dr. William Martin possesses extensive career experience in academia. Most recently, he served as chairman of the Division of Ophthalmology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He has also published articles in a number of academic journals and has led courses at international medical meetings.

Educated at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. William Martin completed his MD in 1977. Highly active in his field, he is a fellow of organizations including the American College of Lasers in Surgery & Medicine, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Over the course of his career, he has achieved many professional accolades, including Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and Top Ophthalmologist in America by the Consumer Research Council.
