Dustin M. Haggett is an entrepreneur, non-profit leader, and community builder. Over the past decade, he has focused his work on providing scalable solutions to a wide range of social issues through a mix of private enterprise, policy work, and community building ventures.

Dustin currently serves as Founder & CEO of Veterans Stand United™ (VSU)—a non-profit organization that engages former-military volunteers in providing protection, advocacy, and aid to vulnerable populations. He also is Founding Partner at Modal Living Inc.—a public benefit corporation that provides modular housing solutions to the mass market in response to the current national “housing crises” in the United States.

Previously, Dustin served on the real estate development team at Summit Powder Mountain—working to build a next-generation alpine town & innovation zone; developed partnerships and programming at Summit Institute; founded and served as Board Director & CEO of Impact Hub Salt Lake—a 600-member co-working space in Salt Lake City that is connected to a larger community of 20,000+ impact professionals across 90 cities globally; and served as Vice President & Board Director of Warrior Rising—a non-profit accelerator for U.S. military veterans.

Dustin has directly supported and rallied resources around a multitude of issue-based ventures working in financial inclusion, human trafficking, mobility, healthcare, education, and more as an advisor and consultant to various governments, for-profit, and non-profit organizations.

Dustin studied Sustainable Management at the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco. He holds undergraduate degrees in finance and economics and completed executive education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment. Outside of his business endeavors Dustin served in the U.S. Army as a reservist for eight years, is a combat veteran of the Iraq War, and participated as a fellow at The Global Good Fund.
