Oxycodone vs. hydrocodone - which one is more addictive?

There were times when for each of the diseases from which people had been drug that comes from nature or that there was a cure all. Mud poultices and mustard could help to draw impurities and toxins from the skin, herbal teas could soothe headaches, and much more. Many natural remedies are still used today but are receding slowly and steadily to the growing onslaught of prescription drugs against any unwanted feelings, physical sensations, mental or emotional. Prescription drugs, an enemy or a friend?

Advances in medicine and medical technology has been both a blessing and a curse. Dangerous disease treatments, such as radiation and chemotherapy for cancer helped many people successfully fight their health, and return it forever. However, medical progress has brought dozens of prescription drugs to the market, which increased the risk to the public posed by a dangerous addiction and overdosage. The use of many of these from prescription drugs is accompanied by unwanted side effects and risk of addiction. In some cases, prescription drugs are available to eliminate the harmful effects of other prescription drugs, and then there are other prescription medications to counteract these negative phenomena, and thus begins a deadly spiral.

All no doubt that there are many drugs on the market very useful prescription. For example, pain medication after surgery can help people recover from surgery without experiencing excruciating pain preventing them off. However, many people find ways to illegally obtain prescription drugs (without a valid prescription to have a medical condition), and then they use prescription drugs because of the pleasant side effects they cause.

According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse (Drug Abuse National Authority), an overdose of prescription drugs causes more deaths each year in the United States than overdoses of illegal drugs. In 2010, about seven million people in the United States have used prescription drugs in an illegal. More than five million used prescription painkillers, two million used sedatives, stimulants used a million and slightly less than half a million people have used narcotics.
