Edmund Bentil- FounderEdmund has a background in Economics and Finance (BA) with a minor in Enterprise Applications (Creative Labs). Edmund has 10 years working experience as a work flow consultant in the healthcare industry with a focus on patient and clinician work process dynamics.At the age of 20, Edmund started his first company called Ikar Health Services, which provided hospitals and long term care facilities in Toronto and surrounding municipalities with staffing, scheduling and staff risk assessment and training. He managed the company for 5 years before selling Ikar Health Services to Mellon Health Consulting Inc.Edmund's passion for healthcare has fueled his goal to pioneer the development of a "Lab on a chip" mobile application (Synergy Med Apps) in conjunction with Dr. Karan Kaler from the University of Calgary, to help doctors and nurses in developing countries to provide bedside diagnostics (CBC and BMP panel testing).The foundation of E-Twenty Development is guided by Edmund's mantra that, "A patient focused approach to health delivery is incomplete if the right tools are not available to ease the road to recovery for the patient".
