Natasha Allen

Edmonton, AB

Natasha Allen is a junior high language arts and computer studies teacher in Edmonton, Alberta. She is fascinated by the idea that students can take advantage of technology to determine their learning needs and focus their efforts in areas where they will be most useful. She believes that learning is individual and should be independent as much as possible within the constraints of the "traditional" school setting.

Natasha has a Master's degree in Education Policy Studies from the University of Alberta and has been teaching grades seven through twelve in Edmonton for fourteen years. She has come to the conclusion that students in grade eight are the most fun to teach because of their enthusiasm and willingness to try new things.

She has just begun blogging about her professional experiences. You can find her blog at echotasha.tumblr.com. Any comments will be appreciated!
