Eddie Ostrowski

Eddie’s love and passion for photography began during a pivotal and influential era in the world of art, media, and society. It was the 80s; where punk rock and boarding consumed the culture of the Bay Area. An expressive era for all who remember and reflect upon it, Eddie honed his photographic talent during this time; when skateboarding made it’s debut and punk rock music shook people to their cores. Capturing it all, as a young photographer he was influenced by artists like Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon, Anton Corbijn and Francesca Woodman, After making his mark within this 80s era, Eddie moved forward to capture the beauty of the woman; hence moving forth to become inspired by the masters of glamour photography like George Hurrell and Horst P Horst. This fascination with classic glamour photography led him to explore the pinup photographers of the 50s and 60s
