Previously founded Total Attorneys in 2002 in an apartment in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood and bootstrapped the company to over $30 million in annual revenue. Was founding CEO for 10 years. The company listed twice on the INC. 500 list (#169 in 2008 & #219 in 2009) and Crain's Chicago Business Fast 50 (#2 in 2008 & #4 in 2009).

Inducted into the Chicagoland Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2009, was listed in Crain's Chicago Business 40 under 40 in 2009, named Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization's Young CEO of the Year in 2009, and was a Midwest finalist for the Ernest and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2009.
