The pursuit of authentic learning in the 21st century compels us to address the misfortune of modern mediocrity. My calling is to continue to pursue a thorough understanding of the classics and to embrace innovation and technology enthusiastically, all imbued with a love for service, the arts and creativity.

Originally a language teacher, Eddie became inspector of schools in South Africa during the time of transition to a post-apartheid education system. He has been involved in independent education in Canada since 1999; as teacher, director of education technology, global outreach coordinator and principal.

Eddie is the founder and head of Think3r™ Education, an innovative think-tank providing solutions to progressive schools and educators around the world. He is also the co-founder and chair of the Board of directors at Alcuin College for the Liberal Arts. Academic publications include A Guide to the Study of Southern Sesotho (1990) and Beginner Latin (1999). Eddie can be found at Alcuin College and blogs at inSync21.com.
