Whenever asked who I am, I always start by saying that, first and foremost, I am the father of Maria Júlia and Melinda, my greatest accomplishments and constant sources of inspiration. I believe that who we are as humans deeply influences our professional achievements.

With this belief, I founded FWK Innovation Design (formerly FrameWork) over a decade ago, focused on bringing human-centered innovation into the corporate world. As CEO, I’m also a partner and investor in Orfeu, a platform that orchestrates innovation journeys, and FWK Studio, which explores unconventional business strategies to create societal value.

In 2013, I developed Project Thinking, a pioneering approach that integrates Design Thinking into project management. My master’s research at CIN/UFPE inspired this methodology, which has since impacted over 1,900 people. I was awarded the Microsoft MVP Award from 2011 to 2016.

I hold degrees from Singularity University Brazil, UC Berkeley, and Stanford (in progress), along with an MBA in Project Management from FGV and a postgraduate degree from FIOCRUZ. I’m also an ad-hoc consultant for UNESCOand a member of GV Angels, Latin America’s largest angel investment group.

My volunteer work includes serving as a reviewer for MIT Solve and as an Advisory Council Member for Harvard Business Review. I’ve collaborated with companies like BMW Group Brazil, HapVida, 3 Corações, Caixa, SENAC, SEBRAE, Microsoft, Natura, Porto Seguro, and UNESCO, helping them transform their innovation processes.

I also teach in MBA programs at Poli/UFRJ, USP/ESALQ, and UFRN, and have been a mentor for Inovativa Brazilsince 2015. My goal is to continue supporting businesses in elevating their corporate innovation efforts, transforming challenges into impactful opportunities.
