Edward is trying to make the world a better place by empowering people to create their own high-quality products through powerful and accessible desktop tools. Edward wants everyone to be their own manufacturer.
In 2011 Edward designed and released Shapeoko, an accessible and affordable benchtop CNC router. Shapeoko has since grown it into one of the most popular CNC machines on the market.
Helping co-found Carbide 3D in 2014, Edward worked to release Shapeoko 3 and has since been working on additional products, software, and accessories. All of which can be found at carbide3d.com.
In 2016, Edward published the definitive introduction to working with affordable desktop and benchtop CNCs in the Book: 'Getting Started with CNC'.
