Silicon Valley is a wonderful place to call home, but it's a region with stark contrasts in neighborhoods with and without rich resources. I believe that all kids should have access to an excellent education - regardless of their zip code - so I left behind a successful 20-year career in high-tech to help my students change their destinies.

After teaching for a few years, I realized that I could serve even MORE students by stepping out of the classroom to build tools that help teachers optimize their time and maximize available resources. My goal is to enable teachers to do what they do best: inspire students to reach their full potential. I now spend my days building EdTech products.

I also enjoy volunteering in the community, experimenting in the kitchen, and hanging out with family (which includes our two spunky Corgis).
