I'm running as a Greens candidate for Wyndham's Iramoo Ward in the local government elections in October 2012 because I want to be part of a Council that genuinely listens to and speaks on behalf of its residents.

I've lived in Werribee with my partner and daughter for four years since buying our first home here. I understand the pressures local families face and want to be part of a Council that responds to these pressures.

I hold a Master of Health Sciences, along with a career in schools, the community sector, and state and local government. I've also been a volunteer with many community groups and I'm a passionate advocate for social justice issues. I love the diverse communities of Wyndham and I bring my drive for equality to my role as a Council candidate.
