I'm a SAHM to a beautiful and tenatious daughter whom I've been homeschooling since 2008. My hubby and I have been married well over 20 years. Hubby has been retired over 4 years from the Army and we're enjoying learning about each other all again in a new way and finding out what "civilian life" has ahead for us.
In 2012, I had bariatric surgery. I decided after years of battling my weight that if I didn't do something, I wouldn't live long enough to see my grandkids, if and when they happened. I started the process in 2011 after much thought, family discussions, and prayer. I consider my lapband successful, but it's a constant work in progress!!
I teach a religion class to 4 & 5 year olds with hubby as my assistant and absolutely love it!! I also enjoy creating and sharing educational and Christian printable freebies in hopes that it helps others going through the homeschool experience, just like we are.
One of my hobbies....or passions is photography. You'll often see photos by me posted here. I love joining in photo meme's when I have time!! I'm a born and bred cheesehead....my blood flows green and gold. I'm a loyal Packers fan....win or lose. When it's not football season, I'm an avid NASCAR fan. I love my Dale Jr!!
