I am a generalist with broad areas of curiosity, particularly with regards to human behavior. I play a lot of tennis and eat a lot of food, in that order.
I completed my Ph.D. at USC's Annenberg School for Communication, where I studied the psychology of media use, particularly video games. I jumped off the tenure track at SFSU's Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts department, where I taught courses on media theory and research for five years. I'm currently working as an Instructional Designer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
I am passionate about creating effective and engaging learning experiences, and motivated to improve the quality of and access to education through technology and innovation.
