I love books, nature, art, and gardening. I love taking photos, especially of sunsets and sun rises. The background photo here is one of mine. I'm a rock hound and that's me over there with a cool fossil rock I just found. I live with the most awesome husband ever. I have two handsome and wonderful sons. I also have two equally handsome and wonderful stepsons. Then there's my pal, Bernie. We found him at a shelter. He's a goofy boxer and he's great fun. Might be slightly deranged, but I love him anyway. Okay, now that you've spent a few precious moments of time checking me out, you might as well read the official bio stuff below. Come visit my blog from the links below and don't forget to leave a path back to your door so I can find you. Have something to say to me? Write me using the email under contact below.

After working for years as a freelance writer of both fiction and nonfiction for newspapers and magazines, Elizabeth Melton Parsons began writing novels under the name of E. G. Parsons. A confirmed tomboy, she loved growing up amidst the wild beauty of the Florida Everglades. Elizabeth was born the 5th child of six, with four brothers and one sister. Her parents were hardworking farmers who instilled in her a love of the rural life and faith in God. Elizabeth always loved books, learning to read before entering school. She began writing poetry at age twelve after reading Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allen Poe. In recent years her poetry has been featured in College and High School syllabuses. Elizabeth loves reading and writing romantic tales interwoven with intrigue, mystery, suspense and the paranormal. Being a member of various writing guilds and workshops over the years has helped to define her realistic and unique style. Elizabeth resides in the beautiful rural countryside of the Midwest with her husband, sons, and Bernie the boxer.
