Hi, I'm Elle, and I live and work in San Francisco. For the past year I worked with an incredible team to design and build Mailbox — a mobile-first email app for the iPhone. Prior to this, I worked with my good friends over at Uber to redesign the iOS app that people use to hail a black car. Simplicity, beauty and a holistic approach to product, brand and storytelling drive my work.

Before startups, I worked at IDEO for five years tackling design challenges such as reimagining the sponsorship strategy for Brazil's 2014 World Cup and building a new US government agency from the ground up as a part of Obama's Wall Street Reform Act.

When I'm not designing, you can find me writing at Medium, giving talks on humanizing brands, and making a big mess in my studio, where I get paint on all my clothes and just fulfilled a life-long dream of having an indoor swing.
