Ellen Campbell

A dedicated physician, Dr. Ellen Campbell remains active in her field by maintaining involvement in several professional organizations, including American Medical Association, the Medical Society of Virginia, the American College of Physicians, and several societies related to the provision of holistic medicine, among others. Today, Dr. Campbell operates her own private practice in Reston, Virginia, which she founded in 1999. Dr. Ellen Campbell has received numerous distinctions from local organizations over the past 12 years for her commitment to providing patients with superior care. The Washingtonian named her one of the area’s Top Doctors, and she has also won a Patients' Choice Award. Additionally, she garnered recognition as a Top Physician. Through her private practice, she strives to offer patients alternatives to some modern medical tendencies, such as extensive pharmacological treatment of conditions, by offering holistic solutions and focusing on the prevention of ailments and the promotion of general patient wellness. Before establishing her private practice, Dr. Ellen Campbell served for several years as a Physician in an outpatient care practice owned by Columbia Reston Hospital, where she provided internal medicine services and treated patients for a variety of ailments. She graduated from the University of Virginia School of Nursing with her Master of Science in Nursing in 1983. Subsequently, Dr. Ellen Campbell enrolled in The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she earned highest honors and graduated in 1993 with her M.D.
