Ellen Irwin is a certified yoga instructor, living in Banff National Park. She has been practising for over six years. In 2013 she traveled to Thailand to study Vikasa yoga.
Vikasa means evolution in Sanskrit. It is a modern style of yoga that is ever-changing; fluid movements with precise alignment facilitating the practitioner to become stronger and more flexible in the body and in the mind.
Focused on helping you prevent or recover from injuries. Reminding you it's not about how you look but more importantly how you feel.
Inquisitive from a young age, always questioning how and why things are the way they are. Ellen has a deep desire for knowledge and wants to share what she has learned on and off the mat.
Ellen has had the pleasure of learning from many great teachers; Konstantin Miachin, George Anthony, Tiffany Cruickshank, Eionn Finn, Baron Baptiste, Meghan Currie, Rameen Peyrow, Swami Tattvarupananda Saraswati, Michelle Lam and the beautiful teachers here in the Bow Valley especially Mindy Johnstone and Erin Evans.
