I'm a columnist for the Guardian's Comment is Free section. I have also written for the Times, the New Statesman, Red Pepper, False Economy, New Left Project and Union News.

I've popped up in various panels and discussions, including Newsnight, Radio 5, ITV news and others.

As well as journalising, I work with Unite the Union on its community membership project, which aims to unionise the unwaged. Occasionally I get up to mischief with UK Uncut.

I also have hobbies and interests.
