I am the Emerging Technologies & Web Services Librarian at Barnard College Library as well as a writer, educator, and international conference speaker. I have just been named the winner of the 2011 Greenwood Publishing Group Award for the Best Book in Library Literature by the ALA for "The Tech Set", the ten book technology series that I created and edited. I am also the author of a well-reviewed book on Web technologies and libraries. I speak at several conferences a year, mainly about new tech trends, digital strategy, and libraries and I am an adjunct faculty member at Long Island University, Pratt Institute, and San Jose State University. I blog at iLibrarian.
