A lot can happen in 24 hours. You could cycle to Paris. Climb Mount Kinabalu. Get hitched in Las Vegas. Quit your job. Pass your driving test. Regret getting an 'I Love Mom' tattoo on your forehead. Run over a pigeon. Eat a bumper pack of snickers. Turn into a penguin. Well you can't actually do that but that would be cool.

Well five years ago, I decided in 24 hours to quit my job in financial headhunting and attempt a life of weirdness. History decided to repeat itself and in 2012, in 24 hours I handed in the notice on my pad. Begged my Russian bosses for a sabbatical. And started packing my bags (and paddleboard) to join ginger oddball Dave Cornthwaite on an 1000 mile journey down the Missouri River.

From the grips of posho London with Pomp Magazine, I spent 60 days on the river, sharing my oddball stories along the way. And I liked it so much I've decided to pack it all in (in June 2013) to become a wandering adventurer, writer and presenter. So watch this space for my plans to come. First up I'm set to kick a scooter 2000 miles around Italy with a boob on my back for CoppaFeel breast cancer awareness charity. As you do.
