Emerson M. Stratton

Raleigh, North Carolina

I was born and raised in Greenfield, Massachusetts. I fell in love with music at an early age and spent a lot of my time listening to my parent's vinyl in the basement. At the age of 12 I started DJing and purchased my first set of Technics 1200's when I was 16. I attended East Carolina University for two years where I spent most of my time DJing in the nightclubs around the town. I then enrolled at the Institute of Audio Research in 2004 where I graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering & Production. I interned for the Hit Factory, Integrated Studios and Fox & Associates in New York City. After interning, I was signed to Red Dawn Records as a Producer/Engineer/DJ in 2007 and DJ'd shows up and down the East Coast. I produced a song "My Year" for Grand Finaal and Joe Budden, which found its way onto Hot 97 radio station in New York. I became the General Manager/Chief Audio Engineer for Audio Arts Recordings studio not long after. I enrolled at Full Sail University and come December I will earn my B.S. in Entertainment Business.

I started my own company in January of 2009 called E.S. Media Management that focuses on all of the business aspects of the Entertainment Industry with a specialization in Social Media Marketing, SEO/SEM, PPC and Artist Development. I have relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina and start pursuing my Graduate Degree in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University in May 2013.
