EMILIA POMA
12 YEAR OLD PIANIST/Composer
Emilia Poma, aged twelve, is an up-and-coming pianist and composer with a passion for music and joy for life that shines through her playing.
Emilia has just finished her first trio composition for Piano, Cello and Violin. The piece is called Expressions.
Emilia is currently studying at the specialist music school Lilla Akademien in Stockholm under Ecaterina Wehlander and has already had much performance experience:
The Gotland Summer Music Festival (July 2009), The Pace Futuro Foundation in Pettinengo, Italy (January 2011), The Leap Foundation, University of California, Los Angeles (July, 2011), The Nobel Foundation, Stockholm (2010, 2011) and in the presence of HRH Queen Sylvia of Sweden (2010, 2011,2012).
The Festival O/Modernt, Stockholm, Sweden (June, 2012)
Emilia will perform Mozart's 8th Concerto at the Stockholm Royal Opera (September, 2012) and attend the Nordicclavichord Festival Finland (August, 2012).
Emilia is currently performing in Thommy Bergren's theater production of Tribaderna Natt at the Stockholm, city theater - Stadsteatern (May 2012-November 2012)
