Former early literacy youth services librarian at Ridgedale Library (Hennepin County Library system). I am the mother of two awesome kids.

I love working (and playing) with children and teens, reaching out and helping others. I like fun. My best self wishes to be creating and absorbing others' creativity each moment, curiosity abounding.

I care about social justice (particularly racial justice), inclusion, diversity, and anti-racism. I am also an advocate for mental health wellness and awareness, as a neurodivergent person myself.

I read comic books and graphic novels, picture books through middle grade novels featuring POC/LGBTQIA+ characters, and have given presentations to other librarians (on comics/graphics and diversity, mostly). I write poetry, and do an awful lot of storytime planning. I have an etsy shop of comic book jewelry I made with recycled books. Years past, I had been known to rock climb and bike around just about everywhere.

I have strong feelings, am a devoted friend, and have professional skills in being both excited and worried. This usually results in excellent work, all considered.

Formerly: (Solo) Librarian at Science House: A Resource Center for Educators, a special collection of STEM resources (physical materials and beyond!) at the Science Museum of Minnesota. 2017 Chair of the Diversity and Outreach Roundtable for the Minnesota Library Association.

I am a graduate of St. Catherine University with my Masters in Library and Information Science.
