Emily Latham is a senior marketing major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. She is set to graduate in May 2016 and hopes to also complete a minor in Italian.

Emily is from the small, but quaint town of Poetry, Texas. She is a first generation college student with big dreams and a drive to succeed. What distinguishes her from other students is her service mentality. She joins organizations and accepts leadership roles with the betterment of the college in mind. She is currently involved in several student organizations including Student Government Association, Chancellor’s Ambassadors, Rawls College of Business Ambassadors, Rawls Student Business Council, and Delta Delta Delta. Emily is also a Student Mentor for the Fundamentals of Business Professionalism course in which she assists students in developing their personal and professional brands.

Emily has pursued a variety of professional and leadership positions to further develop her knowledge for future endeavors. Her previous study abroad experience inspired her to broaden her career aspirations to work internationally for a globally established corporation.

When she isn’t studying or giving tours of the campus, Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family. You can also find her trying new things like pottery or rock climbing.
