Columbia Graduate School of Journalism alum. I graduated early from Cornell University Magna Cum Laude in December 2013 with a B.S. in Communication and minor in Applied Economics and Management.

I am interested in how media companies are adapting their strategies in the digital age. My passion is in storytelling. I am also fascinated by branding and the art of engaging audiences.

I am a former Teen Vogue editorial intern and freelance fashion writer. I have also assisted at WWD summits and Vogue marketing events. At Cornell, I was a Media Relations Officer in which I facilitated press requests, speaker events and compiled Cornell in the News. I also spent one summer in Sydney, Australia as a marketing intern conducting research on Asia Pacific markets for global expansion.

Prior to transferring to Cornell, I spent my freshmen year at Virginia Commonwealth University where I hosted and produced the number one show on WVCW Radio called "Dream with Emilyn" with an international audience from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, England, America, Canada and Spain. The highlight of the show included a weekly 'Emilyn's Quote of the Week' segment. In my free time I enjoy public speaking, traveling and reading. I am currently working on my memoir "Dream with Emilyn."
