Emily Rupp

I'm an American performing artist from the Midwest who has performed all sorts of shinnanigans on stages all across the United States including The New Jersey State Theater, The Chicago State Theater, The White House, and stretching accross the border to Toronto, Canada. Some of my favorite things to do are to sing, play music, create, perform, cook, sleep, eat, and go on adventures.

My original music has been heard around the world on radio stations in New York City, Toronto, and in the UK. Other accomplishments include the grand prize winner for RAD Arts Fall 2011 Singer/Songwriter competition with my single, "Home Is Where The Heart Is" available on iTunes, American Musician/Band of 2012 in the Radio Nation Music Awards, and acceptance to perform in the 2013 IndieWeek festival in Toronto. Listen to my demo's on ReverbNation, and download the above song "Do What You Want" for FREE on NoiseTrade!

I'm also a fan of women (& humans in general) being treated fairly. I have worked with young women through organizations such as Girl Be Heard, The United Nations Foundation, Girl Up, and Differences Magazine. I've enjoyed using performing as a way to empower, inspire, and raise awareness on topics that young women deal with but sometimes may have difficulty discussing. I strive to raise self-confidence in young women so they can be the leaders of today.

I try my best to live from a state of positivity and to encourage and inspire others to do the same.
