I am a data consultant, lecturer and also responsible for planning, development, and implementation of Big Data Week São Paulo. The Big Data Week is an important Data event in Brazil focused on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things use cases and technologies.

I have been working with data all my career and I have had many roles such as Data Engineer, Data Architect, Hadoop Architect, Hadoop Instructor (in-company trainer and at Udemy.com), and professor of postgraduate course teaching Data Science and Big Data applied to business. In the past two years, I have been working as a consultant on data privacy regulations with solutions such as BigID, OneTrust, SecuPi, and TrustArc.

For some time, I have acknowledged the power of data to transform organizations. My role as a data consultant for large companies, Big Data Instructor, and Big Data event manager requires much more than knowledge of technologies. As a data consultant, I work with internal and multi-disciplinary client teams who expect me to have a wealth of knowledge in several areas. Being up-to-date with the latest skills to make effective data-driven decisions and become even more influential within organizations is a great driver to me.
