Emmanuel Onowaro

Emmanuel Onowaro (Dr. Fluid) is a certified professional counsellor who acquired expansive professional training from the foremost humanistic integrative school of professional counselling in Africa, ADI Counselling School. He also has a certification in Positive Psychiatry and Mental Health from the University of Sydney, Australia.

His counselling practice is built on a non-directive and empathic approach that empowers and motivates his clients in the therapeutic process. He strongly believes that humans can achieve their life’s goals and, if provided the right conditions, can tap into their highest potential to be who and what they innately desire to be.

He brings into the therapeutic relationship the beautiful mix of empathy, unconditional and complete acceptance of the other, genuineness, and an undivided presence of self, which are all key ingredients necessary for therapeutic growth.

He offers individual client sessions and facilitates group therapy sessions in both the formal and informal sectors.

He has a varied range of interests some of which include baking, journaling, reading, poetry, education, and travelling. On some evenings, he can be found people-watching at parks and bus stops or taking long strolls to nowhere.
