Emilia Mocarski

Thanks for stopping by. I'm Emilia, a proud Penn State grad originally from Stamford, CT. After 4 amazing years at Penn State, I just couldn't leave Pennsylvania and have been living in Philadelphia ever since.

Although I studied business in college (Energy, Business, & Finance and Economics to be exact), I am currently pursuing one of my other passions: Camp!

I work full-time for one of the best summer camps out there, ESF Camps & Experiences. Full-time for a summer camp, you ask? If I had a nickel for every time I was asked "What do you do when camp is over?" I wouldn't need this job any longer!

I spend 9 months of the year "in the office." This includes (but is not limited to!) full-cycle interviewing, rerecruiting alumni staff, events, family relations, social media promotion, supplies - anything you can think of that might need to happen to make camp happen, I make it so.

I also spend a good portion of these months rows deep in Excel - and I love it. Call me a nerd, fine, but numbers and data and conditional formatting is my happy place!

I spend June-August doing what I love most: I'm at camp, working hands on with my staff and campers. Consistent 13 hour days are worth it because I know that each and every day I am bringing out the full potential of my campers and staff, creating life-long friendships and memories, and ultimately having the best day ever, every day!

When I'm not doing any of the above, I enjoy running (just completed my first half-marathon in April '16), reading, Jeopardy!, and binge-watching Emmy winning dramas with my cats.
