Eren Ozmen

Eren Ozmen is the President of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), a world-class prime systems integrator and electronic systems provider known for its rapid, innovative, and agile technology solutions.

Eren joined SNC in 1988, shortly after receiving her MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno. With a strong vision of the future, Eren Ozmen and her husband Fatih Ozmen acquired SNC in 1994. The successful acquisition of ten electronics firms, and strong financial and technical management has grown SNC into the Top Woman-Owned Federal Contractor in the United States.

SNC has expanded its 6 business areas to 16 states with 30 locations, employing more than 3,000 people – most of whom are engineers, scientists, or technical personnel. In addition to her role as an influential business woman, Eren places a priority on maintaining a healthy work-life balance, promoting family-friendly policies, including the establishment of an on-site daycare for all employees to use.

Fatih and Eren have received numerous awards for their excellent leadership of SNC, including the 2014 "World's Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Space"; 2014 "Aerospace Company of the Year"; 2005 and 2006 Top Woman Owned company by Government Computer News (GCN) demonstrating excellence in applying innovative IT solutions to the Federal Government; 2002 "Women’s Role Model of the Year;" and the 2001 Nevada Distinguished Business of the Year.

SNC has also been ranked #1 on the FedList of Women-owned businesses and the #2 "Fastest Growing Women-Owned Company in North America" in 2011.
