Eric Bukovinsky

I am a native "West Coast" denizen, currently residing in Vancouver, British Columbia. I was born in Seattle and attended Pomona College in Los Angeles. I have spent my professional years in both finance and consulting in the Bay Area and now Vancouver. Though branded through experience, I am a technology enthusiast and that enthusiasm led me to the venture capital industry and Yaletown Partners in Vancouver where I focus my efforts on AI, data and frontier tech investments. I have led investments in Group14 Technologies, FieldAI, Photonic, GoBolt Techologies, amongst others. I am also fortunate to be a part of multiple successful exits including Tasktop (acquired by Planview), FinnAI (acquired by Glia), Sokanu (acquired by Penn Foster), Mover (acquired by Microsoft), amongst others. Before joining Yaletown, I was with Jefferies & Company in San Francisco conducting equity research specializing in infrastructure software companies building the foundations cloud computing. Prior to Jefferies, I was fortunate to spend several years working with many top professors solving real world issues in the fields of microeconomics, anti-trust, quantitative finance, securities analysis and portfolio theory while with Analysis Group, an economic consulting firm. I am also a CFA charterholder and an active volunteer with the CFA Vancouver Society.
