Eric Feldstein

Eric Feldstein is well regarded for his work in the financial services, automotive and consumer finance sectors. Currently, Mr. Feldstein serves as the chief financial officer of Health Care Services Corporation (HCSC), a large US healthcare insurance provider and parent company of Blue Cross Blue Shield operations in IL, TX, OK, MT, and NM.

A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Business School, Mr. Feldstein began his career in the treasurer’s office at General Motors. He earned promotions to director, regional treasurer of Europe, assistant treasurer, and CFO of GMAC Financial Services. He was named GM’s treasurer in 1997 -- the youngest GM treasurer on record -- and went to become GM vice president of finance. In 2002, he assumed responsibilities as CEO of GMAC, where he worked until 2008.

After a period as CFO and partner at hedge fund Eton Park Capital Management, Eric Feldstein joined American Express in 2010 as executive vice president. In this EVP role, Mr. Feldstein managed a global portfolio of American Express businesses beyond the company's traditional credit and charge card operations.

In May 2016, Eric Feldstein was named CFO of HCSC with responsibility for the company's actuarial, accounting, treasury, tax, procurement, investment portfolio, and financial planning, activities. Eric also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Northern Trust Bank's Complex of Mutual Funds (Northern Funds). The Northern Funds complex is comprised of about 45 Funds with over $900 billion in assets under management. Eric is a member of the Board and a member of the Board's Governance Committee.
