Formerly a struggling grad student, now a professional information developer, what I write works.

Professionally, I work as a technical writer in quality systems for a major medical device company. As part of a document clean-up project, I am organizing, updating, and consolidating documents within a content management system. The overall goal is to streamline and consolidate the company's document set.

As a former technical training developer for an international railway manufacturer. I developed instructor guides, student guides, training presentations and any other materials needed for training customer personnel on installed equipment.

Outside of work, when not still working of course, I travel (ask to see my Stonehenge photos), run and practice Isshin-Ryu Karate. I also have a huge interest in software and IT, and maintain my own website, blogs and other social media (see links). Besides my own projects, I am happy to help with others' work if needed, and I will be happy to fix your laptop. Unless you run Windows 8.
