ERIC PAINTER

Jacksonville, Florida

A life-long musician and a burgeoning composer, Eric Painter is building on the success of his most recent orchestral score, "Ruth | a Ballet", exploring new opportunities to compose for live dance performance, film, television and gaming.

Eric released his album, "Ruth | a Ballet", after the ballet’s performance in June 2011 by East Coast Ballet (ECB) of Jacksonville, Florida. ECB approached Eric for the commissioned work after hearing previous releases of his collaborative projects with creative partner, James White--known primarily throughout Japan as "Denty One" of "Minikon.”

Released in 2009, Eric’s first collaborative album, “New Beginnings", capturing improvisational piano with orchestral accompaniment, has steadily accumulated a global fanbase spanning from Florida to Minnesota, Japan to Dubai. "Eternity in the Hearts of Men", an eclectic album of piano, orchestra and electronica, followed in 2010, and has gradually built on the success of its predecessor.

Recently Eric contributed to Minikon releases "Rare Candy" and "Love Wins Part 1" with orchestral arranging for the songs "Little Cloud Soars Away," and "Girl Eyes," respectively.
