Ernie Beal
For more than two decades I led an intensely mission-governed, entrepreneurially driven and quality-focused health, education, housing, and human services organization serving both children and adults. I enjoyed similar success in an earlier careers in Legal Services, a National legal resource center, a local government agency, and a successful law practice involving public policy, human rights, employment, and labor law. Across the past decade I have been fortunate to serve folks in need in a different way: as PT senior Pastor in mission-oriented churches. My current work involves providing consultative support to social enterprises and their leaders. Recently I facilitated closing and relocating a 850-bed state correctional system health care center. This new facility includes a 78 bed acute care hospital and skill care center, a 250 bed long term intermediate care and assisted living program, another 250 beds for persons with behavioral health and intellectual disability needs, an outpatient center, and a 300 bed diagnostic and referral unit. Currently I aid implementation planning for a rural development project headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia. Entrepreneurial to the core, I create, grow, and innovate within any setting. Strong leadership, operational, developmental, and project skills facilitate my success across this broad and diverse range of callings.
On the personal side, I am married to Jan. We have three great adult children.
