I eat, sleep and breathe food and nutrition!

From my education to my volunteer activities, employment and spare time, you will find I am always connected to food or nutrition.

As a future dietitian, I have a passion for growing and cooking food as well as teaching families about the nutritional value of a homegrown meal. I work as a Community Kitchen Coordinator as well as a Food Service Supervisor in a local hospital, and I volunteer in Garden Clubs, and clinical settings. I also provide nutrition workshops to community groups.

I recently created a cookbook: Growing Eden, a cookbook with two of my favourite volunteers, highlighting recipes and pictures from our outdoor community kitchen program. Growing Eden teaches families living on low income how to grow their own food and how to cook with their fresh harvest.

This cookbook can be found at Blurb.ca. All proceeds from cookbook sales go to continuing the program and developing our community.
