Ethan Anderson
CEO in San Francisco, California
I'm a Silicon Valley entrepreneur. I'm Founder & CEO of MyTime, a startup that allows you to instantly purchase and book appointments for local services from the businesses around you.
In a past life, I was Cofounder & CEO of Redbeacon, a startup enabling consumers to request and compare bids for home services. Redbeacon raised $7.4 million from top-tier VCs and won numerous awards including the Grand Prize at the 2009 TechCrunch50 competition and Business Insider's Startup 2010 before being acquired by The Home Depot. Before that, I was a Product Manager at Google, where I launched and managed Google Video internationally. I was also Google’s first PM for emerging markets in SE Asia, and PM for Google Image Search. Finally, I've worked in a number of internet strategy and marketing roles at The Clorox Company, Buy.com, and McKinsey & Company. I graduated with Honors from Harvard Business School and Magna Cum Laude from Duke University, where I studied Economics and Public Policy Studies.
I was recently honored to be named to the Silicon Valley 100 and 16 Up-and-Coming Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs You Need to Meet.
