I came into programming a bit backwards. My first programming language (and still my favorite) is Clojure. From there I learned the likes of Scala, Java and XQuery. I initially got into programming to build a dream and have made it my profession because I've absolutely come to love the idea of both building things people want and becoming the best software craftsman I can.
