Wrote my first line of code at the age of 12. Went all the way from LED toggling to writing a micro kernel from scratch. Spent almost a decade as professional software engineer in the defense industry. Established and led embedded software groups. Had the privilege to work at Sun Microsystems on the Java virtual machine for mobile devices. Became a Linux fan. Paid my telecom dues building digital video platforms at BigBand/Arris. Learned to appreciate jQuery and Python.

Spent 4 years running my startup Angel Sensor, building an open source wearable health device. Ran a successful crowdfunding campaign, raised several VC rounds, graduated from 500 Startups in San Francisco. Failed more often than not, earned my scars and the startup life wisdom.

I'm a devoted Agile believer and educator. I preach about dev methodology and clean code. My mind is always feverish with entre- and intrapreneurship ideas. I derive pleasure from innovation in matters big and small. If a challenge is deemed impossible, let me at it.

I share my thoughts on dropforged.org and Twitter.

Love the sea and sailing. My most recent adventure was a 21-day yachting tour of the Cyclades in Greece. Crossed the Kea Channel at gale force 7 and enjoyed every moment!
