I started DJ'ing about 23 years ago when I first heard house music mixes on WBMX (in Chicago, IL). When I was listening to these mixes I told myself that I could do that--blend different beats together. My first turntables were Technics, but not 1200's. I then went to my local Radio Shack and got a mixer. I also had like three cassette decks. My setup was complete, but there was one thing missing---records. My mom and dad were big music fanatics and had records all over the house, so I got into their collection. She had a lot of 70's soul and R&B and he had blues records. I really liked hip-hop so I went to my local record Disc Jockey and started buying records every week. I would spend $5 every week on 12" singles.

Now, all these years later I am still doing my thing. My equipment is better (R.I.P. Technics 1200 MKII) thanks to Serato. I have so many songs at my fingertips and I am able to be more creative with my mixes. I enjoy mixing Neo-Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Old school joints.

I have mixes posted on PodOmatic, Mixcrate, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, and I am an Infinite DJ (gyroscopeme.weebly.com). I enjoy making mixes that people enjoy. Everything from my Taxi Cab series to my Liquid Texture mixes is a 60 minute musical journey.
