Evan Ostapiuk

Evan Ostapiuk earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 2011. As a student, he maintained a 3.21 GPA in his major and completed several research-intensive projects. One such endeavor, the GB 301 Group Project, involved a startup company, Handsome Hounds, which sells dog apparel. Evan Ostapiuk served as Project Leader and worked to develop an in-depth business strategy for the company, which included financial and operational plans. As a result of his dedication and insight, several of his suggestions were used by Handsome Hounds. Further implementing his knowledge of finance, Evan Ostapiuk completed a term paper on monetary economics, for which he collected information on the U.S. money supply, gross domestic product (GDP), and price levels over the past three decades and tested the quantity theory of money with this data. While a student at Bentley, Evan Ostapiuk completed an internship at EMC Corporation, an information technology provider based in Massachusetts. During his time there, he served as a Financial Analyst Intern and worked on key aspects of the business such as inventory control, budgets, and other financial activities. In addition to working with program managers to assess budgets, Mr. Ostapiuk closed outstanding purchase orders totaling more than $200,000. Evan Ostapiuk presently serves as an Accounting and Finance Intern with Best Doctors, Inc., a Massachusetts-based firm that assists physicians, employers, and members with health care service selection and access. A strong team player, writer, and leader, Mr. Ostapiuk continues to develop his professional skills through ongoing training at Best Doctors. He currently resides in Brookline, Massachusetts.
