Evan Sturza

Portfolio Manager Evan Sturza earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. After completing his undergraduate studies, Evan Sturza became a Corporate Finance Associate with Prudential Securities.

Following his time with Prudential, Evan Sturza served as a Buy-side Analyst with Intrinsic Value Asset Management and as a Staff Writer for Forbes Magazine. He then enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania The Wharton School, where he earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

After completing his formal education, Evan Sturza founded Taurus Littrow Publishing, Inc. and created Sturza’s Medical Investment Letter, a publication for health care professionals and investors. As President of Taurus Littrow Publishing, he established a network of clients that included doctors, pharmacists, and researchers. This resource gave Evan Sturza and Sturza’s Medical Investment Letter access to opinions from more than 1,200 health care professionals.

While publishing Sturza’s Medical Investment Letter, Evan Sturza launched a second firm, Sturza’s Institutional Research, Inc. From 1993 to 2006, he provided investment recommendations to their clients through this new company. As President, Evan Sturza supervised the firm’s research team, trained a new team of analysts, and directed sales and marketing efforts.

Currently, Evan Sturza contributes as a Portfolio Manager with HealthCor Partners Management, L.P. In this position, Evan Sturza oversees and trades a long and short portfolio of health care securities and as well as a selection of pharmaceutical firms, medical devices companies, and biotechnology equities.
