Eve Batey

I'm the editor and publisher of the San Francisco Appeal, a news and culture site focused on, you guessed it, San Francisco. I used to be the San Francisco Chronicle's Deputy Managing Editor for Online, and started at the Chronicle as their blogging and interactive editor. Before that, I was a co-founding writer and the lead editor of SFist.      

I do a weekly podcast with SF State J-School prof Justin Beck called Punching Down, where we talk about media and stuff.   I'm also the host of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District's Monthly "Third Thursdays/Arts In Dialogue" Series.
