Evelyn Li

A highly skilled and experienced cardiologist, Dr. Evelyn Li is trained in a wide array of medical procedures and treatments, including cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, pacer placement and stent placement. An active member of her community, Dr. Evelyn Li ran for the United States House of Representative for District 17 in 2012 on a platform that focused on healthcare, immigration, education, economy and matters related to energy policy.

An active participant in a variety of philanthropic and civic-minded endeavors, Dr. Evelyn Li is the founder of the Patient Advocate Organization, the Asian Fremont Lions Club, and is a legislative representative for three professional, medical associations. In addition to this, she has served as director of the Pacific Justice Institute and currently serves as Founder and Medical Director of the Asian Medical Clinic of Fremont, a respected non-profit organization dedicated to providing the best possible care to all patients, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.

Dr. Evelyn Li began training for her career in cardiac medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, where she earned a Doctor of Medicine. Following this, she successfully completed a fellowship and residency with the UC Davis Medical Center. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a fellow of American College of Cardiology, she holds decades of experience in both private practice and with the Sacramento Public Health Department.

When not attending to her professional or philanthropic responsibilities, Dr. Evelyn Li hosts a weekly talk radio show at 1400 AM.
