Georgia Everett

Hi, my name is Georgia Everett. I am currently a student at The University of Queensland. I am studying a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Communication, Media and Culture and minoring in Advertising. Throughout my degree, my primary focus has been in the areas of Communication, Advertising, and Design. Taking courses such as Professional Practices and Ethics, Communication Research Methods, Writing and Editing for the Professions, Advertising Media, Contemporary Issues in Advertising, Online Advertising, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Social and Mobile Computing, Web Design, and Software Engineering, to name a few.

Throughout my degree I have also taken part in a Marketing Internship which provided me with priceless experience about the Marketing Industry and how to work in a professional environment. I have also been involved in running a Google Adwords Campaign for a local business, which was a remarkable success. Which lead to further advertising in the form of online video creation for the business.

Ultimately, my dream job would be to work in an Advertising Agency as an Art Director or Copywriter .
