Anaheim (CA) based producer. I go by my composing name 'EVO', My real name is Bernie, Novela. I was born and raised in Anaheim, CA. The easiest way to explain how I got into producing was one of my great pals had the idea to get into the production area - early 2011 - soon after that I just went onto my computer and downloaded a production software called FL Studio and I sticked to that, then moved onto Ableton, Cubase, and then I landed onto Reason in which my great pal had the CD to it as-well. Installed it - tried it and I didn't understand 0% of how the program was used. A couple months pass by while I was getting the hang of producing and I was only using FL at the time, then I thought about it and I decided to re-install Reason, luckily I started to get the hang of it quick. Another few months pass by and I decided to take a piano class just to learn the basics, and a production class to learn the knowledge on how to work with Logic and the fundamentals of using a DAW. From that point on I decided to learn everything straight from home on my desktop computer, and grew off of the basics I've been taught in college.
